Combining the dive with Male' Excursion

Many resorts and Tour Guides prefer to include the dive in their Male’ Excursion Program where passengers are either dropped to the submarine on their way to Male’ or brought over to our meeting point in Male’. After completing the dive passengers come back to Male’ in our boat to join the Male’ Excursion Group of the resort who will still have another hour.

Diving on Departure

The clients staying in Ari Atoll or far away resorts prefer this option. If the clients have more than 3 hours at the airport, the clients can join our dives, be it in the morning, afternoon or evening. Our crew will make sure that passengers do not miss their flight or be late to get to the airport for check-in. If this option is used, you must write on your reservation fax/email, us the time of the departure to make sure that our staff gives priority to your clients. If you are staying in Male’ Atoll and prefer to dive on Departure, your hotel can arrange a speedboat to drop to our platform with your luggage. After the dive, we will take you to the airport.

Whale Submarine's Safety

Bruker Meerestechnik constructed whale Submarine in Karlsruhe, Germany. The submarine is piloted by Certified Maldivians. The Ministry of Transport of the Maldives approves the whole operation. Whale Submarine has so far performed nearly 10,000 dives and carried over 300,000 passengers in it’s an air-conditioned cabin. A dive in a passenger submarine is safer than flying in airplanes as passenger submarines do not carry fuel and do not travel as fast as aircraft do. Passenger submarines are powered by battery. There are over 48 passenger submarines currently operating across the globe and so far there hasn't been a single accident involving any of these passenger submarines. However military submarines do face accidents because of the weapons they carry on board. All our safety information is included in our brochures.

Why unique?

Whale Submarine is the only passenger submarine in South East Asia. Further, Whale Submarine is the world’s largest and deepest diving passenger submarine in existence.
